What to Bring

Reminder lists: What To Bring

Hey potential camper! Do you have any questions for me?

Yeah. Are there some things I should remember before coming to camp?

Oh yes. First of all, you need to be sure all of your forms are completed and turned in. Your health and liability release form is essential. Don't forget that.

Got it. What about my sleeping arrangements? Will I be sleeping in a tent or a hotel room?

You will not be sleeping in either. We have excellent cabins and lodge rooms that are heated and cooled. You will have to bring your own bed linens though. That means a sheet and some blankets or even a sleeping bag. Whatever would make you the most comfortable.

Do you provide towels and toiletries?

No, we don't provide any of those. You should bring your own.

What about clothing? Are there some special clothes I should bring?

Yes, bring comfortable clothes but make sure they are appropriate. You may also want to bring extra clothes to wear while riding the zipline and the swing. You will probably want to bring some old clothes for group rec activities. You will most likely get filthy. Muddy even.

Do I need money for anything?

You don't need money once you are at camp, but you may want to bring some. We have a canteen (camp store) stocked with drinks, snacks and souvenirs. If you want to play paintball, that will cost $10 a game.

Right. Sometimes when I relax, I like to listen to my iPod while I am texting and watching a DVD on my laptop. Can I relax like that at Look Up?

Well, while those methods of relaxing are fine, we ask that you leave those items at home so that you have a chance to focus on bigger things.

That makes sense.
